My grandson started first hearing the sounds from Handy Manny on the TV. He was fussy at a month old and as soon as Handy Manny came on, he quieted down immediately!. Now Mom is taping the show on TV and he is fixed to it. This new character is fantastic, and soothing to children. The music is great and the colors are bright and attracting to young children. I don't believe putting a child in front of the TV, but he did it all by himself..now he is 6 months and still stops dead while playing on the floor as soon as Handy Manny comes on!!!

Manny Garcia is the best handyman in the town of Sheet Rock Hills, in fact he's the best handyman in the whole tri-county Wood Valley region! Like any handyman, Manny depends on his tools. And Manny's tools are a noisy, fussy, bickering bunch that make life for Manny a little hectic! But with each job, Manny and his tools learn valuable lessons about teamwork, friendship and community. Manny's motto "You break it, we fix it!"

Kids who can't get enough of Bob the Builder should also enjoy Handy Manny. Manny Garcia (voiced by Wilmer Valderrama, That '70s Show) is a genial handyman in the town of Sheetrock Hills who--with the assistance of his talking tools, which range from a workaholic pair of pliers to an anxiety-prone monkey wrench--helps his friends and neighbors keep their homes and businesses in good repair. Each of the five episodes included on Tooling Around has a simple moral lesson related to using the right tool for the right job (emphasizing that everyone has something special about them) and the importance of working together. Meanwhile, the candy store owner next door provides examples of the bad consequences of trying to do too much by yourself. The stories and dialogue are simple but colorful and kids may end up singing the short but peppy songs nonstop. Also included on Tooling Around is a simple game that cultivates memory skills as kids try to remember where the appropriate tools are located in Manny's workshop. --Bret Fetzer

STUPID WITH A CAPITAL S! - -
Manny must have some sort of mental problem. Or maybe he is just dreaming. Why make a show with talking tools? And what, does everyone NOT know how to read, because every store has a picture on it. This show is stupid and uneducational. What crap!
