Great but can't match the original - Wesley Archer - Reno, Nevada
Fma brotherhood is truly a great anime but it still cannot compare with the original anime, true the fights are better and the animation is nicer but looks can only go so far. No other anime including this one can match the intense drama, perfect pacing and mind-blowing storytelling of the original fullmetal alchemist, fma brotherhood is once of the best animes I've ever seen and it doesn't even come close because it ruins too many scenes with lame Japanese humor that doesn't translate well. I hate to say that the Americanized animes are the best, but this is true. Buy the original series on DVD before you consider this product, it is a better value not just in terms of money, but is a substantially better productFullmetal Alchemist: Season One Box Set
It only gets better - Tsurera -
I'm assuming that if you are buying the second dvd set of FMA:Brotherhood, then you already know and like what this show has to offer.
Well it only gets better. More characters, plot intrigue, rich story, and character developments. Not to mention beautiful animation.
(Again be aware this is a remake of FMA. It is not like the original TV series. It follows the manga plot.)
You seriously can't go wrong with this show.
Much Better Than Before - Massacist - My own Mind
Anime fans will enjoy FMA:Brotherhood much more than the original anime. This series follows the manga, and is more visually exciting, and a much better all around anime. Simply a must have.
a must buy - P. Wagner - WI
Stop reading these reviews and just buy it already!! Well worth it. Has to be my favorite anime yet.
